Changes is a song by Black Sabbath and it was first released in 1972 on Black Sabbath. Volume 4. On the original recording there are no drums or guitars on the track; the song is played solely with piano, bass and background mellotron accompanying Ozzy's double tracked vocal. To me it sounds like Ozzy channeling Carol King and I love it.
I recorded this version one afternoon in 2006 with my friend Nik Lehman in Santa Monica. We always meant to go back and mess with it a little more but it got away from us. I still like it though, and it's just been sitting here in my computer all this time so thought I'd let it fly...
